Wisdom Edinam Kudowor, aka ‘Wiz’ is known as one of Ghana’s most respected and admired contemporary artists, he was born, lives, and works in Accra, Ghana. As many other artists, Wiz was educated at the Kwame Nkrumah College of Science and Technology in the field of visual arts. His works have been featured and sold in group and solo exhibitions in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.

His works are a depiction of everyday social and cultural practices. Some of his pieces recall themes of traditional Ghanaian paintings that brings out the richness and unusual juxtaposition of colour, the solidity of form or the sheer intricacy of technique. Wiz’s work can be seen as surreal as it pushes the boundaries of common contemporary artwork and represents it in a different, cubists, and futurist style.
